Chi square analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between the socioeconomic characteristics of farmers and their level of utilization of biofuel crops (p<0.05). it is therefore recommended that awareness opportunities should be created for these rural farmers on the uses and benefits of biofuel crops through institutions, cooperate, public and private organizations.
