Abstract
This is a study based on qualitative research in didactics.
Selinka (1972) dealt with the interlanguage of learners of
L2. The L2 here is in French. On hypothesis is based on
getting to know strategies most of our students, 47 of them
use to comprehend their French language. The instrument
used here is passage in English to be translated in French.
Their responses are analysed and the strategies deducted.
Out of the 3 considered strategies metacognitive,
cognitive and socio-affective. The cognitive are most
used, the meaning is that, he learn the adopt memorisation
as their strategy
