Item Private Participation: A catalyst for Secondary Schools Development in Ilorin Metropolis, Kwara State(National Institute for Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA), Ondo, Nigeria, 2021) Tijani, A. A.; Balogun, Z. B.examined the existing relationship between private participations in secondary i sheir development in Ilorin ietropolis, Kward State, Nigeria. Descriptive research orrection type was adopted for the study. The target population comprised all 45 senior secondary schools in Ilorin Metropolis 200 respondents and 20 schools' umple size chosen with method of stratified random sompling techniques from the / Govermment Areas made up of llorin Metropolis. The instrument tagged Private ens and Secondary school Development Quéstionnaire (PPSSD0) was developed by sher. The instrument was validated by three expects from university of llorin. he reliability coefficient of 0.81 was obtained using test, re-test method to ascertain of reliability of the instrument: The two research questions raised were answered riptive method of mean and standard deviation. However, the three formulated ypotheses were analyzed using inferential statistics of Person product-moment statistics. Among the finding of this study were (i) there was a positive and relationship between private participation and secondary schools development in -polis with calculated r-value of .149>0.05 significance level. (li) there is high relationship between PTA and school development in llorin metropolis with r-value of .198>0.05 level of significance. (ili) there was a positive and high relationship between community participation and secondary school development necropolis with calculated r-value of .134>0.05 level significance. Jigawa State, Nigeria, 2020) Tijani, A. A.This study. examined the existing relationship between students' population and teachers effectiveness in Kwara state pubic secondary schools. Descriptive research design was adopted for the study. The target population consisted of all 3,100 teachers in 236 public secondary schools of the 16 local government areas in the study. stratified random sampling technique was used so select 50 schools out of the entire "236 schools. The schools were stratified across the senatorial districts in the stare. Proportional random sampling method was adopted to choose 300 respondents from the target population. A researcher designed questionnaire was used to collect relevant data, while a checklist was used to collect population from State Teaching' Service Commission. Pearson Product moment. correlation statistical method was used to analyze the date as 0.05 level .of significance: The finding, indicated a significant relationship between students' population and teachers' effectiveness. The study recommended the construction of additional schools and classrooms to the existing ones in Kwara State to decongest overcrowding of students in the affected areas. Teachers effectiveness could also be improved through attendances of seminars, conferences, workshop and in- service training.Item Utilization of E-learning Facilities for Effective Service Delivery of Distance Education in Kwara State, Nigeria(Faculty of Education, River State University, Portharcourt, 2022) Tijani, A. A.; Abdullahi, N. J. K.; Omosidi, A. S.The study examined the influence of e-learning facilities for effective service delivery for distance education in Kwara State, Nigeria. The target population comprised all students and staff of distance education in the state. Proportional random sampling techniques was used to select the 300 respondents from the two institutions. Questionnaire was used to collect relevant information from the respondents on the utilization of e-learning facilities, while a checklist was designed to collect student’s results for three connective years (2018-2020). The questionnaire was validated by three experts from and reliability co-efficient of 0.73 was obtained through Pearson product -moment correlation statistics. The four research questions raised were answered using descriptive statistics of percentages, Mean and Standard Deviation while Pearson product moment correlation statistics was used to analyze the four hypotheses generated at 0.05 level of significance. The findings of this paper among others revealed that e-learning facilities were highly utilized by the staff and moderately utilized by the students of distance education in Kwara State. Irregular power supply and fluctuation of network service impact negatively on utilization of e-learning facilities. A significant relationship between e-learning facilities utilization and effective service delivery by the staff of distance education was revealed. However, there was no significant relationship between e-learning facilities utilization and academic performance of students in Distance Education programmes in Kwara State.
