Item Bank Service Quality and Customers’ Patronage in Selected Banks in South Western Nigeria(Botswana Journal of Business, 2015) Adeoti, J.O; Gbadeyan, R.A; Adebisi, A.OThis study therefore, examines the relationship between service quality and customers choice of banks patronage. The study was conceived primarily to identify and compare if there is a difference between elements of SERVQUAL and customers’ patronage among selected banks in Nigeria. The top five banks in Nigeria were purposively selected for assessment to ensure generalization and coverage in the study. Purposive and convenience sampling techniques were used to select the sample size of the account holders due to the homogenous characteristic of the target population. There were 385 customers sampled with a questionnaire designed on a 7-point Likert scale. The statistical tools used included multiple regression, ranking order matrix and t-test. The study revealed a high sensitivity of the customers to the SERVQUAL dimensions with adequate information about them before choice of bank patronage was established. The paper concluded that, with more awareness of these SERVQUAL dimensions by banks, there would be an increase in customer satisfaction. The study recommended that service delivery firms like Banks, should consider elements of SERVQUAL as important factors which shape and determine customers’ loyalty and patronageItem The Impact of Micro-Finance Institutions Credit on the Survival of Small- and Medium-Scale Enterprises in Irepodun LGA of Kwara State, Nigeria(The Pacific Journal of Science and Technology, A Publication of the Akamai University., 2015) Adeoti, J.O; Gbadeyan, R.A; Olawale, Y.AThe failure of many small-scale businesses in Nigeria is largely due to a shortage of finances for a continued period of time. The microfinance banks serve as a bailor to the financial collapse that would have befallen many of these businesses. This paper looks at the impact of microfinance credit on the survival of small- and medium-scale businesses in Irepodun Local Government Area (LGA) of Kwara State, Nigeria. The two functional microfinance banks in the Irepodun LGA were the population/sample for this study. ANOVA was used to test the hypothesis. The findings revealed that microfinance banks contribute significantly to the survival of small- and medium-scale enterprises in the study area. The study recommends that: repayment periods should be increased and more funds should be released to potential entrepreneurs for enterprise creation and to generate more employment.Item A Study on Sources of Health Financing in Nigeria: Implications for Health care Marketers and Planners(Journal of Economics and Business Research, A Publication of University of Arad, Arad, Romania., 2016) Adeoti, J.O; Aremu, M.A; Gbadeyan, R.AThere have been increasing difficulties in providing qualitative health care services to the public in Nigeria. The objective of this paper is to examine the level of Government spending to total Health expenditures in Nigeria. This study basically employs secondary data for analysis. The secondary data are provided from the World Bank Development indicators and Internet. The data was analyzed using he Pearson Correlation Coefficient Statistical technique. The result revealed a strong positive Correlation (r = 0.634) between Government Health Spending and Total Health Spending. This indicates that Government Health spending constitutes a significant proportion of the Total Health Expenditures in Nigeria; despite complains about inadequate Health financing. In conclusion, the Nigerian Health sector would become more vibrant, if the Government and the Private sector are ready to give the necessary commitments required to achieve the laudable objective of qualitative health for all. Uganda., 2015) Adeoti, J.O; Gbadeyan, R.A; Babatunde, B.OThe attendant costs of stock-out have made vendor inventory management a mechanism through which such costs could be prevented. This study examined the influence of vendor inventory management system on sale revenue of NNPC’s retail outlets as one of the chain distribution business in South-west Nigeria. Data were collected from NNPC’s statistical bulletin (stocks of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), Automotive Gas Oil (AGO, Dual Purpose Kerosene (DPK) as well as sale Revenue of the selected products) from (2005-2012). Descriptive method and Error Correlation Model of regression were used to analysis the data. The result revealed that the overall effect of the vendor management policies of the three products sold by the organisation has positive effect on the sales revenue of the organisation and the result is statistically significant (P = 0.000, < 0.05). From the findings, it was recommended that, organisations should embrace the Vendor Inventory Management (VIM) concepts to improve and achieve robust sale revenue in the present day chain distribution management business. Products should be replenished on continuous basis rather to be increasing the prices of the organisation’s products.
