Item Effect of Motivational factors on Employees’ Productivity: A Case Study of Dangote Flour Mills Plc. Ilorin Plant, Kwara State. A.; Abdulraheem M.The study is designed to find out the effect of motivational factors on employees' productivity in Dangote Flour Mills Plc. Ilorin plant. The factors considered were salary and wages, pension scheme, working conditions, employees' training and development and employees' participation in decision making. The objectives are to examine the effect of motivational factors on employees' productivity and to determine factors that motivate the employees. The study will find out the motivational factors used in Dangote Flour Mills Plc. Ilorin and how effective these motivational factors are. Two hundred questionnaires were administered to the respondents out of which one hundred and eighty was returned. The data collected were analysed using frequency count, percentages and the Z-test statistical technique. The result depicts that motivational factors have effects on employees' productivity. 82.2% of the total respondents strongly agreed that motivational factors have effect on employees' productivity. It was concluded that factors identified to be promotional factors have effect on employees' productivity. Based on the findings it was recommended that the management of every organisation should ensure that motivational factors are put in place and reviewed to boost employees' morale and increase productivity.Item Impact of Compensation Strategy on Employee’s Performance of Dangote Flour Mill, Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria.(Department Of Industrial Relations and Personnel Management, University Of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria, 2019) Adeoti, J.O.; Olawale, Y. A.; Asabi & O.M.The study seeks to investigate the impact of compensation strategy on employees' performance of Dangote Flour Mills, Ilorin, Kwara State. A sample of one hundred and forty-two (142) respondents comprising of Dangote staff was used for the study. The sampling method employed was simple random sampling technique and questionnaire was the research instrument used to obtain relevant information from respondents on the objectives of the study. Data collected were analysed using multiple regression analysis. The result shows that the impact of compensation strategy is a good predictor for effective performance of employees of Dangote Flour Mills, Ilorin, Kwara State. A.; Jimoh, L.A.Item Impact of Organisational Culture on Employees’ Performance in Selected Pharmaceutical Companies in Nigeria(Academy of Taiwan Business Management Review, 2019) Isiaka, S.B.; Kadiri, I.B; Adeoti, J.O.; Saka, M.J.; Suleiman, A.A; Jimoh, A.L.The various studies on organisational culture have shown that employees in most of the business organisations in Nigeria today are operating under the whims and caprices of the owner’s established beliefs, values and norms which are usually difficult to change as environment changes. Failure in the attempt to properly capture the interest of the employees when addressing this, usually generate the exhibition of some attitudes and behaviours that are inconsistent with the company’s best interests. Therefore, this study examines the impact of organizational culture on employees’ performance with reference to selected Pharmaceutical companies in Nigeria. The study adopted a survey research design. Primary data was used to obtain the needed information through structured questionnaire. Out of 634 permanent staff of the selected pharmaceutical companies in Nigeria, simple random sampling technique was used to select a sample of 239 respondents. Multiple regression used to test the formulated hypothesis. The result of the regression showed that organizational culture has significant impact on employees’ performance (R Square of 0.684, p-value=0.0001). The study concludes that organization culture has a significant relationship as well as a good influence on employees’ performance. Also, significant differences exist in the level of adherence to the identified cultural dimensions. The study therefore recommended that the Pharmaceutical companies in Nigeria should promote organisational culture, especially by paying more attention to detail so as to yield positive and significant contribution to employees’ performance.
