Abstract

The paper discusses immorality as the bane of development in Nigerian society. Education key for morality. It also creates room for different workforce and morally upright individual will be fit to compete and work together globally which will bring progress in all spheres of I our society. Moral Education is an instrument of National development. This paper reckon among others that moral instructions should be taught at all levels of our educational system compulsory subject. All stakeholders in education and social institutions should by emphasis on moral upbringing in advancing moral education particularly in the process Nigeria youths" process of character development. The paper also establishes the need for pop and programmes that recognizes and compensate good character development among the Nigerian youth If the entire society is morally upright, vices of different types will reduce and peas harmony will abide where all round development will be experienced by all and sundry.
