The attainment of certainty of electoral justice and the quest for justice in the adjudication of disputes in election matters require enormous roles from the judiciary. This is as a result of the peculiar nature of election matters which, in legal parlance, are sui generis. This paper examines the challenges facing election petition matters in the adjudication of electoral disputes. The concept of electoral justice is examined to determine whether certainty in electoral justice can be engendered.en_US
