Abstract
That the Nigerian movie industry often referred to as Nollywood is one of the world's most producing movie industries is no longer news. The fact that its prolific productions often address one religious theme or the other is interesting. Many of Nollywood movies come from Southwest, Nigeria, a region noted for her rich inventory of parabolic words to express present truths. From the repertoir of their innuendos they often bring out issues of relative importance for all and sundry in different literary format.
