The reliability of the instrument was established through test re-test method using Pearson Product Moment Correlation (PPMC). Statistic reliability coefficient of 0.85r was obtained. The data collected were analyzed using inferential statistic of Chi-square (x²) to test started hypotheses at 0.05 alpha level. The findings revealed that funding, sponsorship and government involvement were significant determinants to sustainability of private football clubs in Kwara State. Based on the findings, the study recommends that, funding of football clubs should not be left in the hands of private owners alone as there is need for the management to partner with other corporate bodies in terms of sponsorship deals while government should allow corporate bodies and individuals to have a say in the administration of football clubs so as to enhance their sustainability in the league title.
