| dc.description.abstract | Introduction: Islam aims in social poetry to encourage social virtues and warn against its vices. Social poetry is that which identifies social problems in poetic form, then proposes suitable solutions to those problems. The purpose of this paper lies in a descriptive study of the Islamic orientation in selected social poems by poets from the state of Ausen. The paper also aims to trace social life in the state to identify its problems and appropriate remedies. Two poems from the eastern region of the state were selected, and the researcher used descriptive and historical methods to study the poems.
