dc.description.abstractEducation's contribution to achieving SDGs appears ineffectual, perhaps for a weak framework linking both. Against this backdrop, this paper proposes a conceptual framework labelled Lifelong Learning for Sustainable Development Goals, LLFSDG, which indicates that each of the childhood education, youth education and adult education is driven by interactions between and among formal, informal and non-formal learning subsystems mediated by information and knowledge; social and academic demand; media and technology components to generate output and create outcomes linked to SDGs. It is believed that reconceptualizing the relationship as a system, leveraging extant national education framework, would be more rewarding as it will signify stronger interconnectivity among all of the constituents. Thus, a better course will be laid for accelerated achievement of SDGs with less friction, avoidance of multiplication of efforts and minimizing wastages well as reducing cost.
