Validated self-constructed structured questionnaire with the Cronbach’s alpha reliability coefficients of 0.73 to 0.84 was used to collect data needed for the study. A response rate of 61% was achieved. Data collected were analyzed using descriptive statistics of frequency counts and mean. The findings revealed that there was a moderate level of job performance (mean= 2.80 on a five point scale) and the most prevalent perceived work motivational need was compensation (Mean = 2.07).
