dc.description.abstractThe study explored the use of electronic resources by postgraduate students of University of Ilorin and Kwara State University, Nigeria. Five research questions were raised in order to find out the use of e-resources for achieving intellectual freedom. Sample of 362 students in twelve faculties of two universities were r rrandomly surveyed. Data collected using questionnaire were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Results indicate that lion’s share of students are aware that e-resources are very good in writing academic papers, newspapers are the highly preferred print material, internet resources highly preferred, majority agreed e-resources encourage intellectual freedom and power outage is the major challenge in the use of e-resources.
