dc.description.abstractThis paper aims to assess the women and Arabic education in Nigeria; the journey so far. To carry out the study simple survey & historical method is employed while finding shown that the female in this field is far low from that of male counter part about 30 to 70 percentage despite that, it is compulsory upon individual male or female to seek for knowledge even as far as China in accordance with one of the teachings of prophet (S.A.W).However to their credit, , they have successfully achieved to some extend , where some of them had contributed to the development of Arabic in pedagogy, authoring and proprietorship. However, the paper is classified into three main categories; Women and acquisition of Arabic Education in Nigeria, Problems and Prospects as well as Contribution of Women to Arabic Education in Nigeria exclude Introduction and Conclusion.en_US
