The dynamic behaviour of a Bernoulli-Euler beam on a Winkler foundation traversed by a linearly varying distributed moving load is investigated. Using a series solution for the dynamic deflection in terms of normal modes, the equation governing the model is reduced to a set of ordinary differential equations whose solution is obtained in form of a Duhamel integral. Several numerical results are presented to illustrate these effects.en_US
