dc.description.abstractThe evolution of Internet and the corresponding global dissemination of knowledge in the digital era have transformed reading culture of youths the world over. Reading plays significant roles in personality development ofan individual and it improves information and knowledge sharing. This paper explotes reading culture bf adolescents in the digital era; it also highlights roles of various stakeholders (parents, peer groups, schools and libraries) towards improvement of reading culture. Furthermore, the paper discusses the benefits and challenges of new Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in shaping reading habits of adolescents.
