Abstract
Darul Kitab was sunnah is an Arabic and Islamic studies school located in the city of Ilorin. the school, in addition to the Idadi and thanawi programs, offers a diploma in the teaching of Arabic and Islamic studies.the paper studies the curriculum of the diploma program of the school with a view to examining the relevance of the program to providing job opportunity for the graduates of the school. Using a historical research method, the authors identified some adjustments that need to be made to make the program relevant for just prospects and suggests that competent staff is necessary for the efficiency of the program
