Abstract
Education is an essential requirement for human growth and development. Over the years, the Nigerian primary educational system was described to have suffered significantly right from it inception because there was a shortage of qualified teachers, and government was sometimes unable to retain in primary classes those teachers that benefited from primary development programme.
