Abstract
Agriculture is the main source of support for the majority of the rural and urban households in developing countries of Africa including Nigeria. Hence, adaptation of the agricultural sector to the negative effects of climate change may be necessary to ensure food security for the country and to protect the livelihood of rural households (Abid et ul, 20 IS). The earth planet has warmed and cold many times during the 4.65 billion years of its history. At present, Earth appears to be "Icing rapid warming which most scientists believed result, at least in purt, from human activities .
