Abstract

Spectacular processional play are meant for the illustration of Archetypal historical events that reinstate the well being and progress of the citizenry this instance is what is referred to as theatrical pageantry which involves different performance and features. the article has been able to delve into the cultic nature of the performance of the Basege people of the Kogi state using this as an exemplary ritual forum for reflecting history, culture and the influence of the past on the present.
