Abstract
The ubiquity of DC motor in industrial, and home applications makes
it one of the most important components in various categories of
machines. The unending demands for automation in appliances
productions have led to continuing efforts aimed at advancing simpler,
cost-effective, and efficient DC motor drive to take maximum
advantage of its performance. A simple but robust bidirectional DC
motor drive has been presented in this work. The PWM technique is
used to generate pulses signals which are used to vary the speed of
the motor. The device is designed to run bi-directionally, and the Hbridge
was used to control the direction of the DC motor.
