Abstract
This study examined the role of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in
curbing corruption among public servants in Kwara State Inland Revenue Service. Thus,
this study specifically analyzed the relationship between ICTs and governance; Egovernance
and corruption and ICTs and Integrated Tax Administration System in
Nigeria (ITAS). It was discovered that even though successes have been recorded in the
use of ICTs to fight corruption in some countries, there is a need to integrate the ICT
initiatives with institutional support and commitment from stakeholders to make its fight
against corruption very effective in Nigeria.
