Abstract

The quality of education in the universities is becoming an issue of concern to educators and administrators in Nigeria because of the failure of the public universities to achieve the national education goal of producing graduates that would have acquired skills necessary for the development of individuals and the society at large. Private universities, among which is Al-Hikmah University in Ilorin, were consequently licensed to corroborate the public universities in meeting up with the desired objectives of universities to produce youths that are morally upright and intellectually sound.
