    Sources of Stigmatization Among HIV/AIDS Patient Attending Anti-retroviral Clinics in state Hospital, Oyo, Nigeria.

    The study investigated the sources of stigmatization among HIV/AIDS patients attending the antiretroviral clinic in State Hospital, Oyo State. Data were collected from a sample of eighty-seven respondents. This was done following a descriptive cross sectional survey design. The data collected was analyzed using frequency counts and percentage and chi-square at 0.05 alpha level of significance. The findings were that the patients did not experience stigmatization from health worker. However, they were significantly stigmatized by members of their families and communities. Recommendation made include that community members should be given education on HIV/AIDS epidemiology and consequences of stigmatization. Also, it is recommended that family and community members show love and care for HIV/AIDS patients
