This study aimed at assessing the outcome of nurse-led educational training program on the knowledge and practice of basic life support among senior secondary school students in Obubra, Cross River State, Nigeria. The study adopted pre-post quasi-experimental design and stratified random sampling technique to select 200 respondents for the study. Data were collected with structured questionnaire. The result revealed that the knowledge level of the students increased significantly after the training,' there was an improvement in the students' . attitude to cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) after the exposure to the training and showed competence in demonstrating CPR procedures after training. It is recommended that the teaching o/CPR should be incorporated into the Nigerian secondary schools' Biology, and General Science curricula without delay.
