Item Application of Tropical Geometry on Subsemigroup of Order-Preserving Full Transformation.(Science Association of Nigeria., 2018) Bakare, G. N.; Ibrahim, G. R.; Usamot, I. F.; Ahmed, B. M.This work ties together the tropical geometry and semigroup. We applied tropical geometry on subsemigroup of order-preserving full transformation (OTn) by degenerating the elements of classical algebra into tropical algebra in which the multiplicities were deduced through their tropical curves.Item Characterization of Signed Symmetric Group in Inner Product Spaces(Adamawa State University, 2019) Usamot, I. F.; Rauf, K.; Bakare, G. N.; Ibrahim, G. R.This paper provides some characterizations of signed symmetric group (SSn) using the notion of orthogonality in inner product spaces. The concepts of ortho-stochastic and reflection were introduced on SSn and results were established with some examples.Item Computational Error Estimate for the Power Series Solution of ODE Using Zeros of Chebyshev Polynomial.(Journal of Nigerian Association of Mathematical Physics. Published by Nigerian Association of Mathematical Physics., 2015-05) Issa, K.; Ibrahim, G. R.,; Bakare, G. N.This paper compares the error estimation of power series solution with recursive Tau method for solving ordinary differential equations. From the computational viewpoint, the power series using zeros of Chebyshev polynomial is effective, accurate and easy to use.Item Mathematical Modelling of a Staged Progression HIV/AIDS Model with Control Measures(Journal of Nigerian Association of Mathematical Physics. Published by National Association of Mathematical Physics, 2015-03) Ibrahim, M. O.; Akinyemi, S. T.; Dago, M. M.; Bakare, G. N.A staged-progression model for HIV/AIDS transmission dynamics is formulated and analyzed to study the impact of condom usage, HIV-reated public health program and treatment. The local and global stability for the disease free equilibrium(DFE) was proved for Re <1 and Kransnoselki sublinearity trick was used to show that the endemic equlilibrium (EE) is locally asymptotically stable for a special case whenever Re1 >1. Numerical simulation was also carried out for both EE and EE at special case to illustrate the ideas of the results.Item On Existence of a Staged Progression HIV/AID Model with Control Measures(Journal of Nigerian Association of Mathematical Physics Published by National Association of Mathematical Physics., 2015-03) Akinyemi, S. T.,; Ibrahim, M. O.,; Dago, M. M.,; Bakare, G. N.In this paper, we presented a new deterministic model of HIV/AIDS transmission dynamics with public health education program, condom usage treatment by incorporating the staged progression nature of the disease and the rate of educating uncounseled AIDS individuals. We established that the model exsist and has a unique solution using formulated theorems on existence and uniquness of a solutionItem some combinatorial results on alternating semigroups(Department of Science Education, Federal University of Technology, Minna, Nigeria., 2013-08) Bakare, G. N.; Makanjuola, S. O.We constructed the elements of Anc alternating semigroup on n-objects. We also investigated the combinatorial properties of the idempotent and nilpotent elements.Item Some properties of symmetric inverse semigroup and some of its subsemigroup(Abacus. Published by Mathematical Association of Nigeria., 2013) Ibrahim, G. R.; Bakare, G. N.In this paper, we studied the number of nilpotent element of order preserving one-one partial transformation semigroups and number of nilpotent elements of order decreasing + order preserving one-one partial transformation semigroups. Also, we shower that every idempotent element of one-one partial transformation semigroup is a contraction mapping.Item Tropicalization of idempotent elements on full transformation semigroup.(Faculty of Science, Federal University Lokoja, Kogi State Nigeria., 2018) Usamot, I. F.; Bakare, G. N.; Ahmed, B. M.This paper consists of exposition for tropical geometry and its applications on Idempotent elements in Semigroup of Full Transformation E(Tn). We started the exposition with classical algebra into tropical algebra and shown how tropical curves degenerate tropical polynomial in E(Tn).
