It is imperative that students be shown the difference between studying engineering and becoming an engineer. There is need for strong industrial interaction in our education for the students to know the types of problems engineers face, the concepts, processes, and tools they use to solve those problems, and the personal and professional attributes essential to be a team player in solving engineering problems. An attempt was made to evaluate all these variables in this paper.
