In this paper, we consider the numerical treatment of one-dimensional time-fractional partial differential equations by Iterative Decomposition Method (IDM) and Laplace Iterative Decomposition Method (LIDM). Comparative study of the numerical results of illustrative examples of the two methods show that the two methods compared favourable in terms of efficiency, conveniency and accuracy. The major advantage demonstrated by the two methods over some other methods in the literature is their ability to handle non linear problems directly.en_US
