Abstract
From the available statistics, over 600 million people or approximately 10 percent of the word's total population have a disability of one form or another. Interestingly, over two thirds of them live in developing countries, which include Nigeria. Generally, these disable persons wherever they are found are exposed to various forms of discrimination and social exclusion.
