Abstract

The phenomenon of corruption is not just a recent social occurrence. It is as old as the world itself. In Nigeria in particular, corruption has eaten deep into the fabrics of the society. Hardly is there any part of the Nigerian society where corruption does not exist. In the economic sector, the bureaucratic corruption perpetrated in most cooperate organizations is on increase every day. Worthy of mentioning here is the new trend of bribery such that unemployed graduates need to pay for a slot before they can secure employment letter due to unemployment crisis lingering in the country at present
