The fight against youth unemployment is part of Millennium Goals set by the Head of States and Federal governments, but the achievement of the goal has been near impossible. Although there is no single approach that is expected to deal with the whole range of problems facing the young people. But one of the ways to move out of high rate of youth unemployment is by creating favourable conditions for small enterprise development. Education and training programmes should also be reformed in a way that will create a system of incentives to encourage the private sector to provide mentoring for young entrepreneurs as well as training and skills acquisition opportunities for young people.en_US
