Abstract
Religious activities on the mountain today has taken the pattern of the Biblical narrative. And in Ilorin Christians and Muslims get involved in the prayer. The study aims at giving the overview of the nature, growth and competing to win souls on the mountains. Using historical method, the paper outlines the characters and styles of the various prayer mountains that are in Ilorin.
