Abstract
Invoking the Warrior spirit by Tanure Ojaide has led literary analysis into the world of new criticism. The Poetic text reveals the aesthetic notions and values in relation to the context of the audience for whom the poem is composed. one of the findings of the poem is that the people`s consciousness about there social activity is brought into awareness and the new Niger-Delta in present time becomes reestablished in modern philosophy in new structural and cultural ways.
