Abstract
The real-time simulator described is an experimental apparatus designed not only for modelling a wideband channel, but also as a flexible machine for experimentation in propagation models and effects. In this paper, we describe the signal processing techniques used in model fading phenomena as well as the use of high-speed quadrature signal processing in the front-end of the simulator.
