| dc.description.abstract | A company's success or failure is largely dependent on the abilities and capabilities of its workforce. Thus, the study's overall goal was to assess the impact of skill management on employee efficiency in the NDLEA Ilorin, Kwara state. The study's particular goals were to determine how employee skill training affects employee competence, and examine how employee skill development influences employee commitment. One hundred sixty-eight employees of the company were surveyed using a standardized questionnaire. SPSS was used to perform multiple regression analysis on the hypotheses that had been formulated. NDLEA employees' competence and commitment were found to have a strong relationship with employee training and employee development by the R² value of 0.743 and 0.764, respectively, based on the findings of the study. It follows that employees may be slow and unable to achieve better levels of production if their efficiency isn't raised through skill management, as the bulk of the factors were shown to be statistically significant when compared with its individual dependent variables. To that end, the study's findings suggest that NDLEA's top brass do their best to ensure that its workers are well-trained and equipped with the knowledge and abilities necessary to do their jobs. | |
