dc.description.abstractThe sampled population for this study comprised of20 public primary schools in the local government area. While the sampling technique was simple random sampling, selecting hundred (100) teachers serving as the respondents. The instrument used for data collection was a self-designed questionnaire. Frequency counts and percentage were used to describe demographic data of sampled respondents, mean and standard deviation were used to answer the research questions. While the corresponding hypotheses were tested using ANOVA at 0.05 level of significance. The findings revealed that male teachers are not satisfied with their job and that while working experience and differentiate male teachers' job satisfaction. Based on the findings, it was recommended teachers' welfare package and ensure prompt payment of allowances to improve their standard of living thereby motivating them for job satisfaction. In addition, school managements should avoid work overload on few male teachers, as this could result in job stress and male teachers should take pleasure in teaching as a profession in order to put in their best
