Abstract
Christianity and African Religion have life after death as an element in their teachings. Both religions teach survival and life after death. However, how to contextualize and make real the doctrine remains a challenge. The paper, using historical and comparative approaches highlights the similarities and differences in Christian and African perspectives. The paper concludes that the teaching remains real in both religions
