dc.description.abstractLack of cooperation from victims and their parents during prosecution of cases of sexual defilement is a strong reason why prosecution of sexual defilement may be unsuccessful in law courts. This study, therefore, investigated the reasons why victims of sexual defilement and their parents would not give their total cooperation to the state prosecutors handling cases of sexual defilement.en_US
