The research examined perceived ICT competencies and digital library skills as determinants of library and information science students' reading habits in Kwara State University, Malete. The study consisted of three hundred and six (306) undergraduates as sample size. A questionnaire was used as the data collection instrument. The study employed simple random technique. Data was analyzed using descriptive statistical tools of frequency count and simple percentage for easy appreciation and understanding, findings from this study revealed that Word processing skills, Spreadsheet skills, and Technical skills (maintenance) are the skills that influence the reading habit of LIS undergraduates. Digital competencies that influence reading habit of LIS undergraduates include: Using of ICT for learning, Mastering a range of assessment paradigms, Using of ICT for career development. Poor internet bandwidth, lack of specialized ICT learning centers, inadequate ICT skills, and lack of skills to access online information were the major challenges militating against the use of digital library skills for reading among LIS undergraduates. It was therefore recommended that tertiary institutions offering LIS be provided with ICT facilities by the appropriate authorities to enhance the preparation of LIS students for the world of work, there should be a policy to ensure that all academic research study (project, thesis, dissertation, seminar, conference) are always presented in electronic form and Computer and internet studies need to be properly integrated into the LIS curriculum.
