dc.description.abstractThe focus of this is on the Northern Nigeria girl child education as the major weapon of enlightenment for fight against domestic abuse, sexual assault/rape, child marriage, promiscuity and genital mutilations at birth. Measures that could be taken to sensitize and mobilize the girl-child include gender awareness training and workshop involving the media, government and religious/ traditional leaders or scholars.en_US
