Abstract
African Religion, human beings are the most important of the creatures of God and
they are composed of the material and the immaterial parts. The material part is that which is
tangible, visible, and can be described in concrete terms. This, in fact, is the body. Any part of
the body can be lost without the loss of life. A damaged pa it can be cured or replaced, and
people continue in existence. But this is not the same when we come to the second part of a
person which is the immaterial, the intangible and the invisible entity.
