Corporate Social Responsibility is one of the ways of achieving National development, especially in the host community. From a legal perspective, when a company becomes corporate and licensed, it becomes indebted to the state by citizenship and civil obligations; but what the law has not done is to openly stipulate, emphasize and implement the extent to which such registered company must go in the name of corporate social responsibility. The focus of this paper is to critically assess the contribution of Companies, in terms of corporate social responsibility to national development.en_US
