dc.description.abstractThis paper addresses the contribution of sachet water producers in Kwara State in alleviating the suffering of the people in the area of making clean water available for consumption and other domestic issues. The paper becomes inevitable from the backdrop of perennial water scarcity in the state over the years and the attempt made so far to control the situation. The method adopted to put this material together was to explored written documents and conduct oral interview and personal observations. This research revealed that sachet water producers in Kwara State has not only contributed in the area of alleviating water shortages in the towns and villages in Kwara State but also contributed to the general economic and social growth of the State.en_US
