Abstract
Abstract
Digital education is crucial in promoting sustainable e-commerce since it
enables consumers and businesses with the knowledge required in green
consumerism. This research filled knowledge gaps regarding ethical
consumption and environmentally-friendly business operations via the
utilisation of digital education. Secondary data was used to evaluate the
effectiveness of digital literacy projects and sustainability-oriented learning
platforms. The results indicated that although digital infrastructure is growing,
there is lack of sustainability-related material within the digital education in
mainstream. The inclusion of such materials, especially by using the AI-based
and locally based modes of learning, can greatly promote the awareness of
green consumer behaviour and sustainability of supply chains. The research
illustrated that policy formulation, curriculum exchange, and local area
centered interventions are necessary tools that can enable communities to
obtain the digital assessments necessary to support responsible e-commerce.
