The study aimed therefore to explore the ecological history of the city of Ilorin to identify the social geography of different kinds of health hazards which may be confounded with disease exposures. Of importance also is to examine how health and environmental conditions are connected with poverty in cities and how these conditions have been (or can be) aggravated by the trend of global environmental change. Data used was based on both primary and secondary sources.
