The study adopted descriptive survey research design. The sample for the study consisted of 200 respondents randomly selected from different centres in the State. The instrument used for data collection was a questionnaire titled: ''Problems and Prospects of Women access to basic literacy education in Kwara State(PPWABLEQ). Data collected was analyised using descriptive statistical technique and weighted mean score of 2-5 as a criterion mean score for decision.
