The study and examination of these concepts shows in clear terms what demarcates the discipline from other social science disciplines. This is not however to say that there are no points of convergence of the discipline of political science with other social science disciplines. But the fact remains that social science discipline has peculiar concepts. For instance, the economists' deals with concept such as scale of preference, marginal utility, income, demand and supply.
