Language education as one of these factors, significantly contributes to human capital which is essential in socio-economic development. This study examined Arabic Language Teachers' view on the roles of Arabic language education in socio-economic development in Ilorin Emirate. All teachers teaching Arabic constituted the total population of the study. The purposive sampling technique was used to select 100 teachers in Ilorin emirate as the sample. A researcher’s designed questionnaire titled “Arabic Teacher” views on the Roles of Arabic Language Education in Socio-economics Development” was used to elicit data from the respondents. two research questions and two hypotheses were formulated to guide the study. Face and content validity of the instrument used was done by two exports, and test-retest method was employed to ascertain the reliability of the instrument within an interval of three weeks. A reliability co-efficient of 0.76 was obtained. The data collected were analysed using percentage for bio-data, Mean score to answer research questions. Hypotheses 1 and 2 were tested using t-test and ANOVA respectively. It was revealed that, Arabic Education facilitates sustainability of socio-economic values of Ilorin Emirate and plays a significant role in establishing international business relation with Arabian countries thereby improving socio-economy of the Emirate.
