They have both been locked up in competing truth claims that have sometimes resulted in bitter rivalries and conflict. In Nigeria in particular, clashes between Christians and Muslims have resulted in enormous loss of lives and property. This paper however argues that, in spite of their competing truth claims, Christianity and Islam can co-exist in peace and harmony.
