Therefore, a multifactor authentication is required to address security in financial systems. In this work, keystroke dynamics, a new behavioral biometric is proposed as an additional security measures. Keystroke dynamics is a very important tool for authentication with a high level of security which can be implemented to enhance other forms of authentication. This is achieved using static keystroke approach on passwords, statistical feature extraction method to analyze the keystroke time from hold-time and latency, and direct comparison with thresholds based on password length for users verification and authorization.
